Success just keeps ringing in. The book-to-film sleeper hit Think Like A Man has taken the No. 1 position at the box office for a second week, beating out the sure-win Judd Apatow flick The Five Year Engagement.
As Gawker reports, The Five Year Engagement didn't perform as expected, taking in $3.5 million compared to Think Like A Man's expected $16 million weekend total in its second week of release. Ironically, funnyman Kevin Hart stars in both films.
Five Year director Judd Apatow is famous for hilarious hits like Bridesmaids and Pineapple Express, so it comes as a surprise that the film didn't debut in the top spot.
We're happy that Think Like A Man is performing so well at the box office! The great promo it's gotten, paired with the all-star cast, is a great look for urban cinema
