Looks like the divorce battle between former 76ers star Allen Iverson and his wife Tawanna Iverson is getting ugly—and possibly dangerous!
TMZ reports that Tawanna is frightened of her husband and wants a restraining order issued immediately.
Tawanna claims that Allen has "engaged in increasingly contemptuous, threatening, and disturbing behavior" over the past few months. She's apparently afraid that things will take a turn for the worse.
In addition to the restraining order, she also alleges that A.I. has been hiding money from her, a substantial amount at that. At this point, the divorce battle has beeing going on for a little over 2 years now. She originally filed for divorce in March 2010.
Allen hasn't responded to claims yet, but we hope the often troubled star and wife can get their situation together for the kids' sake
