Slaughterhouse Narrowly Misses Top Billboard Spot; Debuts #2

Slaughterhouse's rallying cry was that their album was a step in the direction to save real Hip-Hop. For the most part, a lot of them did. Slaughterhouse, now backed by the Shady Records/Interscope machine, racked up nearly 52,000 copies of Welcome To: Our House. Not too shabby for Joe Budden, Royce Da 5'9", Joell Ortiz and Crooked I., who sold about 18,000 copies of their self-titled debut album during its first week.
They were blocked from the top spot however by someone with probably a stronger rallying cry. Christian rocker/rapper TobyMac, who scored the first #1 debut for a Christian act since 1997 when Eye On It sold just under 69,000.
