Time magazine just rolled out their 2012 list of the 100 most influential people in the world. As always with a list like this you have a few head-scratchers, but in general the list seems very well thought out.
Rihanna made the list this year and right away tweeted the news to her 17 million followers.
"We made TIME 100 most influential people's list! Thank you Navi, TIME mag, and Stella for an exquisite write up! #1LOVE," the pop princess wrote. "Boy I gotta watch my back, cuz I'm not just anybody."
Jeremy Lin also took to Twitter, but only to retweet a teammate's message about his accomplishment.
Other notable names include Adele, Tim Tebow, Hillary Clinton, Raphael Saadiq, Barack Obama, Chelsea Handler and Warren Buffett.
