Rihanna Hospitalized in Sweden: Report

Rihanna has canceled a concert scheduled for Monday night (Oct. 31) and has reportedly been hospitalized in Sweden for flu-like symptoms.

The pop star was supposed to perform in Malmo, Sweden on Monday night, but posted a picture of her arm connected to an IV drip on Twitter and added the caption, "Sorry Malmo!" According to TMZ, Rihanna is currently in a hospital in Sweden, and has issued a statement apologizing for the cancelation.

"I am sorry to everyone who was coming out to my show in Malmo [Sweden]. I was so excited to perform for you all," reads the statement. "It would have been a great time…so much better than being sick with the flu, ugh! I'm really disappointed I couldn't be there."

A rep for Rihanna could not be reached at press time.

The Malmo concert was part of the European leg of Rihanna's Loud tour, which wraps up Dec. 20 in London. "Talk That Talk," the pop star's sixth studio album, is slated for a Nov. 21 release; the disc's first single, "We Found Love" feat. Calvin Harris, is currently at No. 2 on the Hot 100.
