DJ Pauly D is taking his ones and twos away from the Jersey Shore.
The resident deejay of MTV's hit show "Jersey Shore" is taking his turntable – and infamous head of hair – and embarking on a spin-off show, according to RadarOnline.com.
The new TV show will reportedly shy away from the ensemble style of "Jersey Shore," and instead, will focus on Pauly D, whose real name is Paul Delvecchio, in his element.
"It's another MTV reality show and he'll be DJ-ing and of course doing things his fans love to watch," a source told the gossip site.
Those things reportedly include the 28-year-old's exploits with the ladies without the safety net of his "Shore" buddies. Since he spends his off-"Shore" days spinning tunes across the U.S. and Canada, it seems likely that fans will get a greater taste of Pauly D on the turntables than they do in "Jersey Shore."
According to a Radar source, the purported show has a name, but it has yet to be revealed.
"It's scheduled to begin shooting within the month," the source added.
While Pauly D is the first "Jersey Shore" star to reportedly get his own spin-off show, he's not the first to stray away from the brand. Castmate Mike (The Situation) Sorrentino is currently a contestant on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars."
