TruTV Picks Up Shaquille O'Neal's New Show

Shaquille O'Neal is done with playing in NBA but he's found another way to remain on your TV screens. The ball player's new show Upload With Shaquille O'Neal, has been picked up by cable network TruTv, reports Deadline.com.

O'Neal is the star and host of the series, which features comedians Gary Owens and Godfrey, plus other special guests, all of whom will comment on the funniest viral videos. Additionaly, O'Neal and crew will create their own videos to run on the show.

TruTV ordered 10 episodes of the program produced by Vin Di Bona and Bruce Gersh's FishBowl Worldwide Media, of America's Funniest Home Videos fame.

The father of five also works as an analyst on TNT's Inside the NBA, and proved that he's a good sport earlier this year after losing a bet with TV host Jimmy Fallon. O'Neal walked two blocks in a pink bikini during a taping of Fallon's late-night show which was on location for the Super Bowl.
Formerly Court TV, TruTV has found success with it's reality shows, which have been accused of being staged. In response to the criticism the channel referred to their slogan "Not Reality. Actuality," proving that their intention has never been to trick viewers into believing they are watching completely unscripted television. They have also added the shows Killer Karaoke and Guinness World Records Gone Wild, both of which will premiere this fall.
