Trey Songz has landed the male lead role in the upcoming movie "Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D"
According to Billboard, Songz will play the boyfriend of Alexandra Daddario in the film.
If you have seen any of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies you know the male leads generally die a gruesome death. The only question is, how much screen time Songz will get before he meets up with Leatherface.
This is the first movie role for the 26-year old Songz. Some of Daddario's previous acting credits include "Bereavement," "Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief" and "The Babysitters."
The film is being directed by John Luessenhop and will be released on October 5, 2012, just in time for Halloween.
