Roc Nation rapper J. Cole has revealed the title of his upcoming solo debut. The LP is called Cole World: The Sideline Story, and it is due to be released on September 27th.
Cole has been working on the project for more than a year and the album looks to be one of the most anticipated releases of the year. The North Carolina emcee had already gained a considerable following from his mixtapes.
“The only thing I’m not looking forward to about the album... I just finished the album last week,” he said last month. “It’s weird. It didn’t feel like it because I’ve got to wait three months for it to actually come out. I’m used to putting out a mixtape I’ve been working on for a year and instantly see the response. I can instantly follow everybody’s response to all the songs.”
